Join ICAP- Co-Chair and California Air Resources Board (CARB) Division Chief Rajinder Sahota as she interviews CARB Chair Mary Nichols on her long and substantive career as an activist, environmentalist, lawyer, and policymaker. She has served as Chair of CARB under three different California governors as well as an Assistant Administrator for Air and Radiation in the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in the Clinton Administration. She has also worked as a senior staff attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council and the Center for Law in the Public Interest, and headed the Environment Now Foundation as Executive Director. In addition to her duties at CARB, Chair Nichols is currently a Professor in the UCLA Institute of the Environment and holds a faculty appointment as Professor in Residence at the Luskin School of Public Affairs and at the UCLA School of Law, where she teaches a seminar in air and water law.
